The Honey Bee Sandwich

  • 1 1/2 pounds of beef pub style extra lean shaved steak
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon of dried minced onions
  • 1/2 cup of honey
  • 1 cup of barbecue sauce
  • 1/2 cup of spicy brown mustard
  • 3 tablespoons of minced garlic
  • lemon
  1. Sauté meat in pan over medium heat with the garlic, onions, salt and pepper until done.
  2. Place in slow cooker.
  3. Mix barbeque sauce, honey, and spicy brown mustard in a bowl.
  4. Pour over meat, stir
  5. Add three thinly sliced pieces of lemon on top
  6. Cook on low for 2-3 hours.
  7. Remove lemons, and stir.
  8. Serve on a bun or sub roll.
